An awesome web animation project that never saw the light…

Our task was to create an animated web-illustration for a business providing financial services. Clients branding is very minimalistic – no characters, no colours, no recognizable objects…

And so we began to look for inspiration… One day I saw this on my Instagram stories

A ball that is travelling through obstacles – looks kinda neat, representative, does not require characters or complexed objects – we decided to give it a try and adapting Buck studio idea to our needs.

This is what we got – a cube, clear and sophisticated figure, the ball is a character who will embody the core values that our client’s service depicts.

After creating a minimal cube and ball interaction storyboard sequence, we were ready. But unfortunately, clients sometimes change their minds at the last minute – the animation was dropped, however, this piece was a real challenge that got us to some new places in our heads 🙂
